Where W320 fits
W320 is the most widely traded cashew grade in the world and the default reference point in most price discussions. Roughly 300 to 320 kernels make a pound.
It sits where most commercial programmes want to be: large enough to present well in a retail pack, priced below W240, and available in the volumes an own-label or snack programme needs across a full year.
If a buyer is unsure which grade suits a new product, W320 is almost always the right place to start. Samples of W240 and W450 alongside it usually settle the question quickly.
