Cookies policy
The cookies, pixels and similar technologies used on this site, why they are set, how long they last and how to change your choices.
What this policy covers
Bissau Kernel Co. uses cookies and similar technologies on bissaukernel.com and its Portuguese and French language versions. "Cookies and similar technologies" means small files stored on your device, browser local storage, tracking pixels and the software development kits used by advertising platforms. They all work in comparable ways and we treat them the same for consent purposes.
This policy sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains the lawful bases on which we process personal data and the rights available to you.
Our consent position
Strictly necessary cookies are set when you load the site, because the site cannot be delivered without them. Everything else — analytics, advertising, social-media pixels and remarketing — is set only after you give consent, in line with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in EU Member States, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the consent requirements of the GDPR.
Consent is requested in a clear notice on your first visit. Declining is as straightforward as accepting, no non-essential technology is loaded before you choose, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place, and it does not prevent you from requesting a quotation or contacting us.
Guinea-Bissau does not currently operate a dedicated cookie consent register. We apply the European standard set out above to all visitors, wherever they are located, as our single global baseline.

Third-party notices and opt-outs
Each provider processes data under its own notice. The links below open their current privacy information and, where offered, their opt-out tools.
Managing your choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Use the cookie notice on this site to accept or decline categories, and to change your mind later.
- All major browsers let you block or delete cookies, and offer a private browsing mode. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the enquiry, quotation and investor registration forms from working.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if you wish to be excluded from Analytics across all sites.
- Use the industry opt-out portals listed above to limit interest-based advertising from participating networks, and adjust the advertising preferences held in your Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft accounts.
- Mobile devices offer a setting to limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no agreed industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" headers, so we do not rely on them. We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser or extension sends one, treating it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and advertising technologies.
Changes and contact
We review this policy when we add or remove a measurement or advertising tool, and at least once a year. Questions about cookies, or a request to see the consent record we hold for your device, can be sent to privacy@bissaukernel.com.
